Infrared thermal imaging technology has permeated in our life,such as military and civil engineering.Dual-band infrared detector can detect targets in different environment,different types,even different tasks on the same object in optical system.Recently,many units are actively conducting researches on dual-band quantum detector.Target and background image in the visual field arrive detector by passing through the optical system.Then,detector convert optical signals to corresponding electrical signals.Further,the electrical signal becomes a thermal image on the display by processing in image recognition and image.Because of the long wave length,thermal defocusing and aberration are obvious in infrared long-wavelength optic system as the temperature changing.It is necessary to athermalize the optic system design.Therefore,this paper designs a cooled dual-band infrared optical system of athermalized and wide FOV.In the use of thermal imaging instruments,in order to ensure accuracy,optic system needs to have characteristics of narrow field and long focus.But on the contrary,wide field and short focus are better to capture and observe target.It is difficult to meet the requirements of optical system.So,this paper design a infrared dual-band zoom optic system.First,paper theoretically analysis the characteristics of infrared detector,infrared material and diffraction element for infrared optic system design.Then,derivates the condition of athermalized dual-band infrared optic system and establishes new athermalized dual-band dimensional diagrams.With this as a guide to choose material,and design a cooled dual-band infrared optical system of athermalized and wide FOV.Last,from the zoom theory,a 20~×long-wavelength infrared zoom optic with shrinkage method is designed.Optical system is optimized by CODE V which is a optical simulation software.The design is completed with focal length range from 10mm to 200mm.Based on this design,optic system is improved to achieve 20~×infrared dual-band zoom optic system which guide by dual-band athermalizd theory and new athermalized dual-band dimensional diagrams.
