Wireless video display system can eliminate troublesome video signal cable, using wireless transmission transmit video content. A display device can get rid of the restriction of cable length between the device and the host, it can easily be placed within the wireless transmission range, to provide users with a better experience. With the development of wireless transmission technology and video compression technology, wireless communication, digital video codec technology, embedded video transmission technology has been widely applied in wireless video display.Based on the above actual needs, this paper designed and implemented a wireless video display system with non-driver based on TMS320DM8148 processor and Wi-Fi. The wireless video display system is divided into the capture send end and the receie display end. The HDMI signal is collected at the captue sending end, turning BT656 to HDMI, capturing video by V4L2 technology. The video data is compressed by H.264 coding. The compressed video data use the RTP protocol to send data by wireless way. The receive display end receives the RTP data packet which is sent through the wireless way. The received data packet group frame is decoded by H.264. The video display is completed by V4L2 technology.Based on the analysis of the current mainstream of several wireless video display systems, this paper presents a specific hardware design wireless video display system, analyzed according to the specific issue raised by the system functional requirements. Discussed the schematic design circuit and PCB design of the main system. The system includes a video capture module, Wi-Fi module circuit, power module circuit, circuit core processing module,and carried out a detailed analysis and elaboration. Introduced the U-Boot transplant, embedded Linux kernel cutting. Completed the ADV7611 chip IIC device driver,in the embedded linux video processing front end of the HDMI signal capture. At the same time introduced the processing of video acquisition based on DaVinci multimedia application interface. Completed the WG7310 driver transplant that under embedded Linux based on SDIO interface module. A wireless video display system is designed based on V4L2 video capture and display, H.264 coding and decoding, RTP wireless data transmission.
