With the development of technologies such as Computer graphics, Digital imaging, Computer simulation, Artificial intelligence,Stereoscopic technology and Virtual reality has been developing into every corner of people’s life and working area in a great speed, and the combination of them has been becoming more and more tighter. Also because of the fast growth of mobile information technology and relative industries, personal mobile server has been becoming the new experimental platform of stereoscopic technology and virtual reality. Thus the product designing and developing method using technologies such as stereoscopic technology and virtual reality based on mobile platform is called mobile virtual reality. Mobile virtual reality has been becoming a multi-platform, multi-subject and highend technology research area.This paper is mainly focused on the combination of stereoscopic technology and virtual reality based on Android platform, which perfectly fits the characteristics of mobile virtual reality as mentioned above. This paper did a very detailed analysis about the domestic and abroad research situation of stereoscopic technology, virtual reality and mobile virtual reality. With the knowing of technical concept and the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical operation, designing and completing “THE IMPLEMENTATION OF VIRTUAL WALK THROUGH SYSTEM ON ANDROID PLATFORM BASED ON STEREOSCOPIC TECHNOLOGY”. On the software side, using cinema 4D as a designing tool of scene models. Completing virtual walk through system scene construction, interactive functions, stereo display and head track functions by unity3 D platform google cardboard sdk for unity3 D. On the hardware side, combing android device with mobile virtual reality device, assisted by Bluetooth joystick. With software and hardware cooperation, regardless of time and location factor, implementing a comprehensive and mobilized stereoscopic virtual reality experience. |
