With the rapid development of civil aviation, the number of the aircraft and special vehicle in the airport is increasing. Currently, for most domestic airports, the airport surface monitoring and operating system of airport special vehicle mainly rely on visual of the airport staff and some voice equipment. For the busy airport, the traditional method has potential security risks, affecting the normal operation of air transportation and the low accident efficiency. Wireless sensor network as a information acquisition and processing technology, is very suitable for airport management.Firstly, the architecture, routing algorithms and positioning system solutions about wireless sensor network have been studied, focusing on the analysis of the improved routing algorithm and positioning experiment for wireless sensor networks. According to the study result, raising a improved protocol for the airport including two parts. Firstly, this network area will be divided into fixed clusters. Secondly, using PSO to optimize the choosing of the fixed cluster head node. Finally, Simulation results show that the new algorithm performs better on network load and energy consumption compared with LEACH using the fixed cluster head node or PSO to optimize. In positioning aspect, by comparing different methods and to design the positioning system in hardware and software. Secondly, to verify the effect of the system, using the CC2430/CC2431 of TI corporation to design a simple wireless sensor positioning system in the campus based on ZigBee protocol. The system based on the RSSI method is feasible and according to the result of the positioning test to analyze the influence factors of the result and correct the error about the result. The topic based on the WSN has analyzed the key problems of the positioning on two aspects of simulation and experiment. The result has verified the feasibility of vehicle positioning and provided a reference for practical application.
