Research On The Influence Of The Electronic Resources Based On SCI To Chinese Scientific Research

The development of electronic resource in China lags behind developed countries for 10 years. Electronic resource as a medium of scientific development turns into Carriers and channels of scientific research and academic exchanges. And it plays significant role in utilization and distribution law o f scientific and technological information. Our watch is how to evaluate the influence of Electronic resources on the development situation of Chinese physics articles. To evaluate the citation and cited situation of research articles can reflect the acade mic level and scientific research ability from personal to country. So our aim is to explore the impact of application of SCI by Chinese scholars on article count, quality and knowledge dissemination etc.by evaluating articles with citation analysis.In this article, we would use the method of bibliometrics and citation analysis on account of the Web of Science to evaluate the physical science articles by Chinese scientist published in the journals accepted by SCI in the year of 2000 and 2010. The articles would be evaluated in these aspects: Firstly, compared the quantity, cited peak, cited times of the SCI physics articles by Chinese scholars, to study these index changes and analyze the influence of SCI on the development situation of Chinese physics articles. Then these results suggested that the number of papers increased obviously, and the average cited number significantly increased, which declared that scientific achievements significantly increased and the influence was expanded,these results also reflect that opening application of SCI plays a great role in promoting on the development of science; Secondly, analyzed the cited half-life and the age distribution of first cited-citation delay, then found the cited half-life was reduced and the citation delay was also decreased, which means that knowledge updating and knowledge dissemination of Chinese physics are all accelerated; Thirdly, combining with the data and conclusions, analyzed the important role that SCI Promote the level of scientific pa pers; Finally, we gave our suggestions based on the existing question of application of electronic resource and the development of research in China. Those tissues are to increase investment in electronic resources and coordinate the management, to perfect the scientific evaluation index, to attach great importance to the academic information exchange and international cooperation, to increase investment in scientific research, to strengthen language learning, to raise research integrity awareness, and so on.In this article, scientific papers were analyzed through citation analysis method mediated by electronic resources to assess the influence of SCI, evaluating the quality of scientific papers, renewal of knowledge,dissemination of scientific achievements, and even national scientific research and development.It plays important role with reference to research method,theoretic exploration and realistic practice.
