Science and technology journals directly reflect the level of national science and technology output, which in science and technology activities, has an irreplaceable role, is an important tool for scientific and technical exchanges. How to improve our level of scientific and technical journals and papers Journals quality, how to scientifically evaluate the quality of scientific journals, has been highly concerned about. In this paper, 1999-2008 "Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology" a systematic quantitative analysis.Objective: To evaluate the academic level and influence of "Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology" through statistical analysis for the articles published from 1999 to 2008.Methods: Literature measure, mathematic statistics, general induction, bibliometrics, logical reasoning and comparative analysis were applied to examine the number of articles published, citation amount,citation language,citation type,support from foundations, authors, from 1999 to 2008. The status of cited articles was analyzed from 1985-2008."Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology" and "Progress in Physiological Sciences" and "Acta Physiologica Sinica" published articles in the volume, the total citation impact factor and cited half-life times were compared.Results: 1. Papers and fund the increasing number of papers, the number of local authorities five years after the funds significantly increase the proportion; 2. Beijing, Zhejiang, Tianjin, an important source for the magazine, is the physiology of the more active areas; 3. The average number of citations per paper 7.75, with a strong ability to absorb English literature reference, citations to journal main types; 4. Articles degree of co-operation, co-author a higher rate of more than 11 published papers on the core of the magazine; 5. Compared with the other two journals from 2003-2008, "Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology" contains the text content is relatively high, but the impact factor, citations, citation half-life is relatively low, but the gap between the small, three kinds of physiological Core journals at the same level.Conclusion: "Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology" has a fine academic level and social influence.
