Optical signal analyzer is an indispensable instrument in photoelectric signal testing field, optical signal analyzer can analysis not only eye-diagram of different modulation formats and constellation of signals, but also high-precision spectroscopy. Optical signal analyzer software is an important part of the whole instrument interaction, human-computer interaction, the original data acquisition hardware software algorithm processing, as well as spectral analysis are essential. The development of optical signal analyzer in the country is still in a blank stage. This paper describes the photoelectric signal analyzer system components, including the instrument hardware architecture, preprocessing spectral data according to the process, using the fitting method of extremum to search the peak, and researching for spectral analysis, and the other parameters of the Line Width, Side-Mode Suppression Ratio and Optical Signal Noise Ratio. Software development platform and the function need to achieve, spectrum analysis to study, design and complete spectral analysis software, and finally test.The instrument interface design and function module design in the paper is based on software platform LabVIEW2011, interface design includes instrument start interface design, time domain and frequency domain menu interface design; design of functional module is based on modular software design, design and complete the peak search and other functions, testing software according to the test principle and outline of test, final release software.
