In order to better maintenance increasingly sophisticated optical fiber communication system, and monitor time domain and frequency domain characteristics of optical signal, the research of broadband and high-speed photoelectric signal analyzer with the measurement function in time domain and frequency domain is an effective way to solve the problem. However, the software closely related to the instrument is the medium of human-computer interaction, and the quality of software directly determines the performance of the instrument. Therefore, the development of analysis software is of great significance based on virtual instrument and LabVIEW, which is stably assembled by light signal measurement method in time domain and frequency domain, and has a friendly interface.Firstly, this dissertation introduces the system composition of broadband and high-speed photoelectric signal analyzer, then, states the key technology, including linear all-optical sampling technology and spectrum measurement technology based on the stimulated Brillouin scattering.Secondly, with the modular programming thought, the module partition and description of each module are completed according to software requirements analysis. Then, the detailed design and implementation of each module are expounded. For the module of time domain, this thesis realizes data acquisition, constellation, parameter calculation of constellation, the design of time domain interface and framework, and mainly focus on the eye diagram reconstruction algorithm. For the module of frequency domain, this dissertation implements display with multiple curve, marking, region, scaling, translation, the design of frequency domain interface and framework, mainly focus on the spectral data acquisition and point-by-point display, moreover, puts forward the parallel processing strategy for hardware and software. At the same time, we realize the function of data import and export.Finally, the testing on function and performance of the software is completed based on the test experiment platform; meanwhile, the validity, stability and excellent measurement performance in time domain and frequency domain are verified.
