With the fast development of the mobile communication, smartphone is updated and improved constantly, and more and more moblie applications have been developed. People increasingly prefer to get information through the mobile phone platform. Meanwhile in the university campus, there are colorful campus activities, but because campus activities have simple propaganda methods, complex information, low retained degrees, the activities are not effectively advertised, and students cannot get information of activities.In order to solve those problems, we need to provide a unified activity information publishing platform to provide better campus activity information service for the users in campus.In this thesis, we analyze the present situation of campus activities, and designe and implemente a campus activity recommendation system based on Android platform. This System uses Android Studio as the integrated development tool, Java as the programming language, and MVC as framework model. First, this thesis provides a brief introduction of the present situation of campus activities and the background of the project. Second, we complete the requirements analysis of this system, and introduce the Android operating system and related application technology. Then, we designe and implemente the Android APP according to the demand analysis. In the process of design and implementation of this project, the main technical problems including the design of the system framework, the standardization of the application level communication protocol, the design and management of the database, the optimization of the system performance. In this thesis, the function modules of the project include: activities push module, schedule management module, message module and setting module. We describe the implementation of key function in each module in detail. Finally, after completing the program's code according to the detaile design, the system performance has been optimized, including the layout optimization, memory optimization. The system has carried on the comprehensive test and analysis. During the testing process, we constantly found some problems of the system and solve them to make the system perform better.
