The Design And Implementation Of A Network Teaching Platform System Based On PHP And MYSQL

With the development of computer network technology and multimedia technology,the application of computer network is wider and wider,especially its application in the field of education.Along with the changing of the educating group,the educated group and the education purpose,the traditional school teaching mode has been unable to meet the needs of the new education model.Today's vocational education is based on the students' employment and the students' talents,under which students are centered and their learning motivation is aroused.The resulting network teaching mode,which is students-centered,using a variety of network media and modern education and teaching methods,is a new form of education and teaching.Through referring to the achievement of theory of and practice of the current teaching platform systems home and abroad,researching existing hardware infrastructure and students' objective learning situation,this paper has established a network teaching platform system based on PHP.This system is mainly used for the teaching faculty to do network teaching and for the students to learn through the network teaching platform in Shandong Polytechnic College,which is an effective supplement and expansion.The network teaching platform is a development model based on the popular B/S network,using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 as front page development tool,PHP as the development language,MySQL as the background database,Apache as a web development environment.The network teaching platform fulfills the functions such as system users management,curriculum management,examination management and answering questions management.With this system,different user groups are able to interact by only browsers,which will offer further services for the education and teaching in Shandong Polytechnic College.
