Design And Implementation Of Network Environment Teaching Aids System Based On PHP

At the present, domestic universities and colleges build their campus network gradually as the students’ PC become more and more popular. The improvement of Hardware and teaching environment also leads to the changes of teaching mode, so the teaching aided system based on network gets more attention around the world. This paper introduced the design and implementation of the Teaching Aided System Based on Network Environment, according to a real project from Chengdu Neusoft Information Institute.A teaching aided system is designed in this paper according to the similar systems and based on the internal network enviroment of Chengdu Neusoft Institute with the technologies combination of PHP, Apache and MySQL. Taking the advantage of network, it makes up the shortcut of traditional teaching pattern, and allows students and teachers communicate with each other outside the classrooms.This system provides several main functions. Students could visit the information by major or course; user could ask questions on every course page and participate in the discussion of each question; the teacher in charge of the course has the right to reply all questions on every page, and the teacher could help students online(in the on-line chat rooms). It also provides the capability of main aided teaching functions such as teaching resources’ uploading and downloading (FTP).Auto-matching feature is the biggest difference between this system and other previous similar system. It finds out the keywords from students’questions by word Segmentation technology. These keywords would match the datas in Q-A database which is maintained by teachers and then the students can get the close matched results. By the way, teacher’s workload can be reduced, and the teaching resources can be used more effectively.
