Design Of Bilingual Teaching Platform For Computer Network Course Based On MYSQL

With the rapid development of information technology, computer science and Internet have been used in many areas and by many people. Internet is not only one of the most important ways for students to acquire knowledge, but also a vital channel for teachers to fulfill their education and communicate with students. At the same time, China has paid more and more attention to the education reform, especially the development of online education. A series of projects about online education platform construction has been launched in recent years. Therefore, online education has become the hot trend of modern education.Based on computer online bilingual language course, this thesis researches and designs the corresponding education platform. This designed platform overcomes the shortages of low interaction and being difficult to update and extend which traditional static education platform has.Firstly, this thesis bases on the practical demands of the online education platform construction and research on the advantages and disadvantages of domestic and foreign works to design the online education platform. The work applies JSP technology, B/S mode, spring framework and other techniques to design the platform. The advantages of this online education platform are easy to operate and good at extending. Besides, the platform can improve the interaction and optimize teaching efficiency. Moreover, the platform is open source code, which can support other developers and users to facilitate further research and study.Secondly, the framework of the platform is divided into two parts:Front Page Display Platform and Background Management Platform, and these two parts are cohesion via MySQL database. The Front Page Display Platform includes five models of User Authentication, Outline Courses, Learning Resources, News Browsing and Interaction. The Background Management Platform includes three models of Platform Management, User Management and Data Management. In the practical using of the online education platform, teachers and students get different permissions depending on their different roles.Thirdly, during the designing of the data base, we build entity models and entity relationship models of education platform content, messages information, students, teachers and managers. Then based on the analysis of the entity relationship models, we build configuration table, catalog table, content table, message information table, teacher administrators table and students table to record the basic information. We also research and analysis the security situation and design the encryption algorithm.At last, we configure and deploy the operating environment of education platform. Then we test the online education platform in the aspects of functionality, performance and compatibility. The experiments show that this online education platform fulfills the requirements of practical demands and the expected goals.
