Developing Of The Network Based Multimedia Teaching Assistance Software Platform Under The Task-driven Teaching Mode

Since Multimedia technology has been widely used in Computer Assisted Instruction, Multimedia Computer Assisted Instruction (MCAI) has become the main method of the computer teaching. With the development of network technology, the Multimedia Computer Assisted Instruction(MCAI) has gotten more energy. Network CAI(Network Based Computer Assisted Instruction—NBCAI) makes students and teachers study , teach, exercise, test the class content by computer network. The teaching activities based on the network emphasis on the independent and initiatively learning mode. There are several ways for the mode. The students can join in to evaluate the study purpose, which can increase the interest to the class. The students also can make a study plan based on personal conditions, even select the teaching content and homework freely, which will increase the individual initiative of the students. So, apply both Multimedia technology and network technology in Computer Assisted Instruction will be the development direction for now and future.Based on the actual requirement, we finished designing and developing the network teaching software for the subject of information technology. The software is accompanying with the related teaching material helping the teacher to complete the teaching target. It is also the self learning tool for students.
