Design And Implementation Of Wireless Remote Meter Management System

With the progress of wireless communication technology, the use of wireless communication network for remote monitoring and data transmission has been widely used in all walks of life. Wireless remote meter system in the application of water supply industry is able to realize " convenience for both sides", "which can not only improve the quality of service for the residents of users", but also become fast, efficient, accurate way for the water supply enterprises. It is an efficient and economic way to enhance the water supply enterprises' operation and management.The paper designs the wireless remote meter management system under the background of the implementation of Tianjin household water meter reading renovation project, which changes the traditional reading model, and forms a new household metering and charging model. It analyzes the research background and significance to provide theoretical guidance for the ultimate realization of the system. Besides, it analyzes the application requirements of system implementation from the point of demand, analyzes the technology and related tools of program implementation from the point of key technology, and analyzes the system designing and planning from the point of design, which in turn lays the foundation for the final implementation and testing of wireless remote meter management system. It uses object-oriented design to achieve the two-tier C/S database application system through the DataSnap technology, and adopts Delphi development tools and SQLServer2000 database to achieve unified management of remote meter business management platform in the design and implementation of wireless remote meter management system.The system has been proved through physical environment. Each indicator has reached the pre-system design requirements and has met the actual needs of Tianjin household water meter reading.The aim of this paper is to provide a feasible ideas and solutions for the enterprise and provide a valuable reference to further promote the application of wireless remote meter system.
