Communications and information technology for the power system development has injected new vitality. The power system is shifting attention from the generation, transmission to coordination of generation, transmission, distribution and consumption. Customer interaction for smart grid provides a new way of control for operation of the power system. Rely on the communications capability provided by Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), operators are able to control the customer's smart electrical equipment, to achieve fine management. At the same time, widespread network infrastructure of AMI introduces a large number of uncontrolled access points, which offers attackers potential entry points into the network. Under the worst case, customers may also tamper information of consumption or upload false response information.As the foundation of smart grid, AMI targats to interface with many system-side applications to support data sharing and control means, in addition to traditional information collection and transmission. As a basic service provider, AMI provides services to other advanced applications and AMI operators will require identification and authentication to request.Aiming at these problems, the main work of this dissertation are the following:Firstly, the article is focused on the security threats of AMI based on Customer Interaction for Smart Grid. The security solution has been designed for AMI, after analysising international standard comparing with domestic standards. Secondly, interaction function based on Power Consumption Information Collecting System has been analyzed. Taking Vehicle-to-Grid as a case, the responsibilities and authorities of partcipants have been defined and information exchange process has been formulated to secure transmission of information and ensure that users benefit from fair who take part in V2G. Lastly, deployment of authentication and authorization platform performs authentication and access control to a service request coming from other system-side applications and AMI operators. Further, the application security solution of Power Consumption Information Collecting System based on the commercial encryption SM developed by our country has been designed.
