Smart home is one of the important application fields in Internet of Things(Io T). Through smart home, the quality of people’s lives can be improved effectively. However, the security risk is still a great concern in real practice, for example, the leak of private information, invalid invasion of smart system etc. With the wide application of smart home, information security technology catered to smart home has become a popular research area in IoT.In order to enable smart home network to provide service in a safe and convenient way, this thesis proposed a research for the key technologies of smart home information security. Firstly, the current status and development trend of smart home was introduced, then the related technology was presented, including IoT, cryptography, authentication and access control. Furthermore, based on the summarization of the security challenges in the architecture of smart home information security, combining with the characteristics of smart home information security, suitable key technologies should be chosen. So a smart home information security management system was put forward. Based on the analysis of the structure, theory and process of the smart home modules, AES symmetric encryption algorithm was adopted for the access authentication. MAC address authentication technology was selected for the core technology of access authentication. In addition, the role based access control mechanism was chosen as the key technology in user management. The simulation result validated the functionality of each module, and the system could effectively protect information security for smart home.
