Energy crisis and environmental pollution are two major challenges facing the current human,also is our country to carry out the strategy of sustainable development must be a priority for major issue,to develop new energy technologies and renewable and alternative energy,and is the global strategy solves the energy shortage.Light Emitting Diode?LED?have drawn much attention owing to their excellent properties,such as high luminous efficiency,low power consumption,environment friendly,reliability,long life and so on.Therefore,LED is expected in the fourth generation of lighting source.The LED general consists of LED chip,bracket,encapsulant,gold thread and so on.One of the fundamental limitations in the development of light-emitting diodes LEDs is the light extraction efficiency of LEDs.Due to the big difference between the chip and the encapsulant,it will lead the angle of the lightescape cone is small and light energy conversion into heat.In order to improve the light extraction efficiency of LEDs,the high refractive index of packaging material is needed.The research shows that the nano particles into the encapsulant,and prepare the nanocomposite as the LED encapsulant.It can improve the refractive index of encapsulant,and effectively promote the light extraction efficiency of LEDs.In this paper,the nano TiO2 is used as the dopant particles into encapsulant,and we investigate the properties of nanocomposite.Then take nanocomposite apply in LED packaging,and compare the one's which had no nano TiO2 dopped in.The main work contents are following:1.The Carlo Monte method is used to simulate the moving process of the photon in nano composites,and the characteristics of nano particles in nano composite materials were studied.In the research,the scattering coefficient of the nanocomposite material is found to affect the transmittance of the material,and the coefficient of the material is higher,the photon scattering is stronger.The scattering coefficient of nanocomposite is affected by the radius and concentration of nano particles The radius is larger or the concentration is higher,the value of scattering coefficient is higher.Eventually it will make the transmittance of nanocomposite go lower;2.The aggregation of inorganic nano-phase in the polymer matrix was successfully solved by the addition of a proper amount of surface modifiers.The optical properties of nano composites were studied.After the nano particles doped,the transparency of the nanocomposites always keeps high transparency.And with the increase of the content of the doped nanoparticles,the refractive index of the composite is also improved;3.The nanocomposite will used in LED packaging,and compared with the encapsulated material which has no nano particles dopped.The result shows that nanocomposites can improve the extraction efficiency of LED light rate,and makes the LED light stronger.
