Railway as the national economic artery, the country's important infrastructure and public transport, the status and function of economic and social development in our country is very important. In recent years, with the rapid development of railway passenger dedicated line, speed increase section and the high standard advanced equipment in the field of signal have large scale of application, the security and reliability of the signal equipment are put forward higher requirements. At present, there are many information systems such as: fault diagnosis expert, railway dispatching system and so on are used in the maintenance of railway,which auxiliary maintenance personnel to complete the maintenance of signal equipment. But these systems can only achieve the management of data, performance is too simple, and help is very limited.In this paper, through the investigation of the railway scene and the demand analysis of the existing railway signal maintenance system, design and develop 3D visual railway signal integrated maintenance system based on C/S mode, which can achieve the visual management and maintenance of railway signal equipment. This system contains eight functional modules that are visualization platform, plans and tasks, account management, fault management,statistical inquiry, data maintenance, system management and view. Among them, the visualization platform is the main module of the system, which realizes through the BIM and VR technology. Through the use of Revit software to share the information of the professional field and establish a three-dimensional information model. Because the 3D information model is too fine and the contained information is redundant, which causes the system to run slowly and the efficiency is low, so the method of optimizing equipment information model is studied. System adopts the unity3 d engine to integrate the optimized 3D model, and designed an interactive operation railway three-dimensional roaming module. The hierarchical display of 3D model and visualization of underground pipeline are realized on this module.In order to make the users to more real understanding the operation environment of the railway scene, a panoramic roaming is added in the visual platform module. In view of the problem of poor real-time performance of the existing panoramic image mosaic algorithm,this paper proposes a kind of panoramic image fast mosaic algorithm based on feature points,effectively improve the stitching speed of panoramic images.Through the detailed analyze and design of the system, completed the development of the system. The user interface of the system has the advantages of simple operation, friendly,and the user can in a short period of time to master the operation process. Maintenance teams can conduct visual maintenance task arrangement, maintenance scheduling, emergencydispatch, maintenance guidance and other work on this system, which can faster and more efficient complete the railway signal maintenance work, and realized the advantages of timely,efficient and information, satisfied the requirements of the railway transportation safety when it enters service.
