The reduction of the loss of power grid operation, especially the reduction of the loss of transformer, is of far-reaching significance in the aspects of protecting the environment, energy saving and emission’s reduction. Operation mode of power grid don’t make choice of economic operation mode in our country, most of the transformer is still in the natural operation mode. In order to realize the energy saving operation of power grid, we must strengthen the corresponding supervision and management according to the actual operation situation of the power grid. Optimize the allocation of grid resources, and then effectively realize the grid condition improvement, so as to improve the operation efficiency of power grid. Intelligent management system for transformer load is to use the existing grid hardware equipment, optimized by software, as far as possible to reduce the loss of the whole network to reduce investment and obtain the better energy-saving effect.Through the study of economic operation of the transformer and power system analysis and decision algorithm of the actual operation requirements, this paper completes the design and implementation of software function. First, this paper analyses the domestic and foreign transformer economic operation situation, and summarizes the problems in current economic operation. Secondly, this paper introduces the basic theories of economic operation of transformer; This paper analyzes the requirements of the intelligent management system of transformer load, and also analyses the feasibility of the system, system functional requirements and non functional requirements. This paper designs the graphical modeling method by using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 development platform and SQL Server 2005 database. It realizes the graphical device of substation, transformer, circuit breaker, circuit, intelligent modeling in the program, and the corresponding analysis. In order to achieve the purpose of online optimization, we give the optimal economic operation mode of transformers through expert database analysis. Finally, the results of the system’s main function test and further research work are described.This is online analysis system. It helps the transformer energy saving diagnosis evaluation strategy and put forward suggestions to optimize the economic operation of transformer. It has realized the significant loss reduction from the technical point, and it gives the dispatcher basis in optimizing the operation of power grid. In the application process, we have reached the expected goal, and various functions have been realized and very good application. It can meet the design requirements and reliable running.
