With cloud computing, the rise of cloud storage, as a cloud of relying on--data center network is also carrying on the "change for the cloud" technology upgrading and transformation. Virtualization of the cloud computing business, need to build a wide range of Internet, on the second floor to support virtual machine migration of computing resources and scheduling. The be nefits of a Layer 2 network is transparent to the virtual machine, but in order to ensure high performance and high reliability of the network, network loop problem need to be solved. In traditional data center server network design, usually limit the scope of the second network under network convergence layer, through configuration across convergence layer switches VLAN, network on the second floor can be expanded to more than one access layer switches, the scheme for the server network access layer provides a flexible extension ability. But in recent years, with high availability server clustering technology and dynamic migration of virtual server technology in the data center network disaster recovery, deployment of computing resources can be widely used, not only these two technologies required to achieve large Layer 2 network access in the data center, and require between data centers to achieve a wide range of Layer 2 network extensions. Thus put forward a lot of new technology, TRILL(Transparent Interconnection of Lots of Links) technology is one of them.Thesis topic selection is based on H3 C Technologies Co. practical application projects. This article based on the analysis of the research status at home and abroad proposes a new to build data center large Layer 2 network architecture--TRILL technology. First, the paper describes the TRILL technology related concepts and specific operational mechanism, and describes TRILL technology typically used in data center network and high performance computing network. Second, the thesis further analysis testing demand of TRILL technology testing scheme, specific including functional testing requirements analysis, performance testing requirements analysis and stress testing requirements analysis. Furthermore, the paper according to the testing requirements analysis and the characteristics of tested equipment to design general testing methods and detailed functional test case, performance test case and stress test case. Finally, the paper according to test requirements and test cases before preparing the required hardware and software environment, simulate data center networks to set up a testing environment, according to test purpose, test input, and operation steps of the test cases to do specific functional testing, performance testing and stress testing, and compare the actual test results with expected results of the test cases, If they match, through the test, and correspond the test archive, otherwise, the test results need further analysis and explanation.TRILL technology performed in a simulated real data center network environment, functional testing, performance testing and stress testing,after a lot of repetitive manual testing and automated Copy machine test,test results show that TRILL technology can meet the needs of data center networking large Layer 2 network and high performance computing networks,able to address the growing contradictory of cloud computing and big data era data center. The test results further show that the TRILL technical test scheme is feasible, reasonable and advanced, has a certain guiding significance for future related research and engineering practice. TRILL technology is currently has gradually become the standard of data center network building, and promote the development of the data center.
