Development And Implementation Of Medical Record Management System Based On ASP.NET

Medical records are important wealth generated during the operation of hospitals, and collected representation of the hospital historical heritage. Creating and updating sound case management system are very important to the hospital and medical records. With increasingly higher awareness of the health, people will go to hospital to check even if they have a slight illness, so the volumes of the medical records have greatly increased. Better medical service can be provided to patients if all these medical records get well utilization. The management staff of hospitals must consider this issue seriously. Case management system carries out modernized management for medical record information through methods such as computer technology, network technology and management techniques. It is a network management information system integrating the entry and query of main indexes of medical records, medical record information cataloging, medical statistics and the circulation of medical records.Medical record is a major carrier of the hospital medical information. With the rapid development of information science, case management has been developed from simple medical record keeping to health information management, and to a scientific, standardized and information medical management systems, and can produce, extract a lot of valuable information, with the fundamental purpose to provide services to hospitals and the community. The use of medical records is the starting point and destination of case management. Medical Records of the use of case management is the starting point and destination, strict quality control system to develop medical record, medical staff fully aware of the importance of the timely completion of the medical record, improving medical personnel respect the objective and realistic, high-quality medical record written consciousness.Therefore, to develop a set of medical record management system is an indispensable part of the hospital informatization process. At the same time, to manage and control the medical records from each individual stage, and to make the case management more standardized, routine, systematized, and to be adapted to the laws and regulations and avoid medical disputes are also the meaning of this research.In this paper, the research background of medical records system has been introduced from two aspects: medical records accumulation and IT support. Also, the significance of the establishment of case management system has been explained, and the basic situation of the historical development of medical record management system has been introduced. The study is divided into two phases. In the requirements analysis phase, the main points are analyzing the existing problems in medical record management, and the needs analysis modeling based on the results. Then it presents the design and implementation phase. It begins with the introduction of overall architecture and the major features of the detailed design of the system, each module, and database systems; when the system is completed, it runs the functional testing and performance testing to the system, and the test results are analyzed and processes to ensure the effectiveness and feasibility of the system; and finally, the system's strengths and weaknesses are summarized and discussed.In this paper, the case management system needs analysis are from both user and function aspects, and been divided into the medical record information maintenance module, data dictionary module, role management module, staffing module and case management module. On that basis, the related performance index of the system has been determined, and finally, the design of an ASP.NET development B/S structure of medical record management system have been developed. The system is based on the Windows platform, using B / S model development, Microsoft's Visual Studio 2008 to develop the main structure of the system and the functional modules, the programming language C # and JS, and Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 database to do data structure and integrity of the rule development, and the setting up of the database security mechanisms.
