With the rapid development of information technology in financial institutions, the current level of information in domestic city commercial banks continue to improve, more and more transactions channels and business varieties appear. The new service means and financial products continue to emerge, and complex business processes increase constantly, so that trade information and management information continues to expand. All of these have increased the difficulty and intensity of the audit and affected the effectiveness and efficiency. So the traditional audit methods can not meet the need of development nowadays. To enhance audit level and enrich audit means, commercial banks are in preparation for the establishment of an off-site audit system with the help of computer technology.Based on the in-depth research of off-site audit background of the current city commercial banks, this article describes the technical methods of off-site audit, data modeling, data analysis techniques. It gives an overview of Greenplum database used by this system, and analysis deeply several advantages using Greenplum database as a data service. Finally, for off-site audit difficulties from growing data pressure, it proposed banking data storage processing through Greenplum database. With the establishment of the audit model, it help internal audit of commercial banks find irregularities and potential risks of implementation in the huge electronic data information systems.Combined with an actual project in a certain city commercial bank, this article studies and describes the overall demand for off-site audit system, and carries out data requirements analysis, system functional requirements analysis and business requirements analysis. It discusses the overall architecture of the system, and overall-designs the system network architecture, business logic structure, function logic architecture and data architecture. It shows design of the structure of the major functional modules and part of the data table structure. In the function module design sections, it focused on the methods of the system that supports open data modeling. This method differs from conventional design that the query functions are designed in the application, so that users of the system are with great flexibility. Theoretically, it allows auditors unrestrictedly design an unlimited number of data models in accordance with their audit ideas. It gives the realization of the system, and shows the system operating environment, technical architecture design, major functional modules. Finally, the article describes the test scheme of the system, the procedure of setting up a test environment, and tests system functions, query warning model, system performance, and shows the off-site audit results in a certain bank. Currently, the bank uses this system to carry out off-site monitoring everyday, and obtains a large of auditing trail for the on-site audit with the help of the results that system runs.
