Design And Implementation Of Purchasing Management System For Government Of Anshan City

The digitization and informationization plays an important role in automation, intellectualization and transparency of the government procurement. With the development of the computer technology, the multimedia technology, and the modern communications technology, all countries over the world have to support the construction of digital information project. It sets off a digitizing and informationizing wave.Purchasing Management System refers to the use of computer technology and network communication technology, Internet-based platform for online government procurement system. It is the whole process of government procurement activities. Purchasing is a very important part of digitized and informationized government procurement. It is also a combination of the procurement management and the network business.This thesis is based on the actual situation of Government of Anshan City and functions of the existing Purchasing information management system. Combining with computer and related knowledge, such as multimedia technology, database technology, information management system knowledge and so on, a set of Purchasing management system for Government of Anshan City is developed in this research subject which is based on .NET technology. First we make analysis of basic functions of the present Purchasing information management system, and propose a Purchasing management system solution for Government of Anshan City. Secondly through needs analysis, feasibility analysis, outline design, detailed design, system implementation and system testing, the basic function of the management system for Government of Anshan City is realized in this thesis. The designed system is based on the actual situation of Government of Anshan City and makes use of the computer technology to manage the information of the government procurement. It improves the efficiency of government procurement. It also reflects the Government Procurement of openness, fairness and impartiality. The main computer technology this research subject use includes the .NET technology, database technology based on SQL Server 2008 technology.It improves the efficiency of government procurement.
