Frequency diverse array has received a lot of attention and development in the past ten years. Compared with ordinary arrays, frequency diverse array has many advantages. For example, well-regulated twists occur in the beam pattern of the frequency diverse array, which can provide a technological method for against the interference. but due to the existence of the frequency increment in the frequency diverse array and complicated clutter environment, clutter spectrum will be broadened seriously. In addition, the frequency diverse array`s space-time steering vector matrix contains an item related to the range, which makes the oridinary space-time adaptive processing not applicable to the frequency diverse array. Therefore, the adaptive algorithm based on frequency diverse array needs further research. Frequency diverse array is analyzed in detail in this thesis, and space-time adaptive signal processing is overviewed briefly as the babis of space-time-range adaptive processing which is put forward for frequency diverse array in this thesis. The main contents are below.1. The analysis on frequency diverse array`s characteristics and transceiver schemes plays an important effect on engineering applications. Characteristics of the frequency diverse array are analysed detailedly in this thesis. Besides, the receiving schemes are discussed in this thesis, for the subsequent data analysis and processing.2. A very important application of array radar is space-time adaptive signal processing. Because the frequency increment in the frequency diverse array model is not zero, which leads to the existence of an item related to the distance in the steering vector matrix. Clutter has some dependencies on range. The space-time adaptive processing will turn into space-time-range adaptive processing. At the same time, because of the clutter`s dependence on range, clutter no longer meets the characteristics of independent identically distributed(IID). This makes the space-time signal processing based on frequency diverse arrays more difficult. Under this circumstances, this thesis puts forward a method to compensate the clutter data.
