The design and implementation of Shanghai Electric Power Company Grid rapid repairing management system is presented in this thesis which development objective is to support the company's lean strategy in grid running maintaining and its related rapid repairing service management requirements based on the core of the command headquarter and the execution units of working groups. This system development is also conducted to support the company's long term improvements in defaults and failures in electric power grid to raise the operation's efficiency and formality.Based on the above application goals the system's functional requirements, software design and programming implementation aspects are discussed in this thesis. In functional requirement aspects the general management workflow, concrete basic rapid repairing operational information management functions, scheduling and on-guarding management functions, rapid repairing operation management and evaluation functions are discussed and analyzed in detail with their use case models. In system design aspects the system framework is constructed in entirety in MVC pattern with rapid repairing operation view layer, operation transaction processing layer and data management layer. The system major functional modules are configured mainly at the layer of rapid repairing operation transaction processing centralized on the backend application and database server platforms. In programming implementation aspects this distributed software system is implemented with Java under J2EE technical framework together with Oracle database server on which the data intensive routines are programmed with relational data model programming language PL/SQL.Shanghai electric power company's rapid repairing management system is under operational tests and significantly raised the company's capability in dealing with grid failures, reduced the response time and raised the precision in repairing operation. I addition the real operating and failure data are effectively acquired by this system which is highly valuable to the power grid long term running management. From all these consequences this system's expected development objectives are well reached.
