With the very rapid development of wireless communication technology, its application in every field has developed much. Especially in remote warning and monitor field, wireless communication technology makes it more convenient and effective. The device used to warn and monitor needs to send the exact message in time. The SMS (short message service) based on the network of GSM satisfies both the requests. First of all, the short message's arrival needs only a few seconds. Even if there are some problems, it won't take a few minutes. Secondly, the signal is intense, so the rate of accuracy is guaranteed. And if there are some problems, the message will be saved in the SMS Center. The strongpoint is that the system is not limited by distance.This paper introduces a remote warning and monitor device based on TC35 which is a GSM module produced by Siemens early. The warning system is designed, which gives an alarm message by SMS in order to achieve a safe situation where nobody is monitoring, but the client device responding to the emergency rapidly. This device makes of singlechip and TC35. The singlechip dispose all the information. TC35 is used to send and receive message. This device can send message to the designated phone. It also can receive message sent by the designated phone, and control the relay. This can also be controlled by computer.Major work of this dissertation:1. Based on the principle of wireless technology and SMS/MMS'development present situation, a main scheme of wireless remote monitoring system based on SMS/MMS and ZigBee technology has been proposed.2. Analysing and researching the structure sending process and encapsulation of SMS.3. Accomplish the hardware design of the system conforming to the request of warning and monitor device.4. Design the software of the singlechip to send and receive message. The system realized the PC interface by the software LabVIEW.
