The AT89S52is a low-power, high-performance CMOS8-bit single-chip microcomputer with4K bytes of Flash Programmable and Erasable Read Only Memory (PEROM) and128bytes of RAM. The chip is configured with a versatile8-bit CPU and a flash memory unit. The Atmel AT89S52is a powerful single-chip microcomputer which provides a high ratio of performance to price and can be used in many embedded control applications.This paper designs a simulated circuit for measuring speed of car and warning of reverse. It uses the AT89S52as controller and completes the programming for measuring the speed and the distance. The main work completed by the author includes:1. Investigation of state-of-the-art of speed measurement and car reverse radar, and proposes the total design outline about simulation circuits of measuring speed and distance.2. Research on the circuit structure, pin functions and working principle, and design of the control circuit of measuring speed and audio prompt of car reverse based on the single-chip microcomputer AT89S52.3. Analysis of the structure and characteristics of CX20106A. The paper also proposes circuit design proposal of ultrasonic ranging. The design of the circuit of ultrasonic transmission and reception is based on CD4069and CX20106A.4. Introduction of the process of photoelectric sensor speed measurement, proposal of the design scheme of rotation speed measurement, and design of the rotation speed detection circuit based on photoelectric sensor.5. Use of the electronic development system Altium Designer and the Electronics Workbench for circuit design and simulation, and data measurement and analysis based on experimental circuit and oscilloscope.
