| With the rapid spread of Internet and the wide application of computer technology, websites have become an important tool for corporations to beautify their images and promote their products.Traditional website management is hindering the information process of corporations due to its demanding workload, time-consuming and complex operations, high cost and low efficiency in maintenance and upgrade.Therefore, research on and development of portal website content management system will have great theoretical and practical significance.Content management system(CMS) is the platform to manage and release information in a portal website. At the platform, one can input, conclude,edit and then easily release the information, in order to maintain and update the website quickly; one can quickly change the layout and appearance of a web page to diversify the website by managing the templates; in addition, the user roles are specified so that high efficiency and the security and integrity of the whole system can be guaranteed through limiting rights to users. Portal website CMS functions throughout the processes when the website is built, operated,maintained and upgraded, dramatically deceasing the construction and maintenance costs for corporations, thus help improve the ability of corporations to serve their visitors through websites and their competitiveness.The CMS introduced in this thesis adopts the 3-tier system structure,as in B/S model, and uses ASP.NET 4.0 as development tool and SQL Server2008 R2 as database, employs MVC model and Ext JS framework. The system is now on a trial run by Sino Steel Ma'anshan Institute of Coal Mine Research Co., Ltd. and is performing very well. The successful development of this CMS serves as the solution to low efficiency, complex operation and incomplete functions and realizes quick content management,diversified template application and convenient information release,with its comparatively better security, stability and practicality. |
