The Research And Implementation Of Highway Construction Cost Management Information System

In recent years highway construction has developed rapidly in our country, but the construction-cost information management technology is relatively backward,which has restricted the cost-control management level. In order to control the construction cost effectively, we need to speed up the digitalizing process of the construction-cost information management. Thus the research and development of the highway-construction-cost management information system has been endowed with highly practical value and theoretical significance.This paper carries out an analysis of the present situation of the highway construction-cost information management, and conduct a research into the theory which related to the construction-cost. According to the business system organization,personnel structure and business relations in the process of construction, we adopt the hierarchical permission management strategy to control the users' permissions as to limit the object of the users' operation. We use the hierarchical coding method to realize the input, storage and query of the two-dimensional data form at a relevant level. Based on the hierarchical relationship of highway construction process and the business object, we introduce the tree-view control system to make the operation object easier for the users. By means of Web Service technology, we can realize the remote database access, with introduction of the uniform interface technology to realize the operation of the MS Excel workbook and the work table. System in the.Net platform uses C# language and SQL Server 2008 database and ASP.NET Web Server and some other related technologies to realize the management information system of budgeting, contract management, project implementation and statistical analysis.Through actual testing of the project data, the system can provide the information accurately, timely and completely for the construction-cost management.It helps the managers to understand the causes for changes of costs at any time which make it convenient to take a more effective cost-control strategy. It helps the managers to formulate the targeted construction-cost management plan, to curb thedeterioration of costs timely, and to reduce the construction cost, so as to achieve the designed goal of the system.
