As a type of museum, heritage museum is a sort of non-renewable resources, the irreplaceable historical evidence, and an important cultural and educational institutions, which exists for nearly six decades. Initially, the concept of the heritage museum was vague, while now it is fully functional. With the rapid development of society, people are no longer concerned only with material life, but also the needs of the spirit. In order to go with the tide, Archeology carried out public archaeological practice. The archaeological site of activity gains popularity with the public due to the emphasize of public participation. This article is about the inspiration on the development of site museum from current activities of public archaeological. On the basis of the research and the developing process of the site museum, the article points out the shortcomings and analyzes the status of the site museum, focusing on clarify the existing issues of the museum site:l)Education personnel structure of site museum is defective;(2) the site museum education content and form are not able to attract the public; (3) part of the site museum display platform is not much room for growth; (4) site museum can not take the initiative to understand the needs of the public due to lack of audience investigation; (5) the lack of audience awareness of the site museum leads to insufficient participation.On the basis of the full absorption of previous studies, using comparative method,survey and other research methods, combined with the relative content of public archaeological activities and the development of site museum, this article puts forward a feasible solution on personnel structure, content and form of education, the display platform aiming at several problems the site museum faced by.
