In current community, the dissemination of information often rely neighbor notification, posting notices, etc., and therefore the mode of transmission is very limited, not only spend a lot of manpower, material and time resources, but also the efficiency of transmission is not high. Although there are many online services in the mobile application of people’s lives, but they are directly used to still have a lot of drawbacks, such as lack of targeted many functions, many modules do not have access, as well as security issues. This study is aimed to develop a intelligent community mobile application based on Android, enabling online maintenance reporting, online payment of property charges, convenience and community forums and other life functions.This thesis introduces the development status of research background and significance of smart phones and various mobile applications, and outlines the convenience that different mobile applications brought to people’s lives. On this basis, the intelligent Android-based mobile application for community is proposed. Through the Android system related technology analysis and presentation, as well as mobile applications based on the needs analysis, software design, and implementation of function, elaborated software testing and other aspects of the research results of the project will be eventually showed.This thesis uses the Java language, Eclipse + ADT development environment to design this mobile application. The application contains the basic functions, extended functions of the two modules, and other non-functional modules. The application has four functions which are property management, convenient living, help, and circle. User interface is generous and intuitive, and buttons are neatly arranged, quick and easy to operate, easy to understand. During the development, a number of the system interface and functional testing is done to ensure the security and stability of the system. It has been put to use for several months and meets the design target. This shows the application is of practical value.
