How to integrate the space network and the ground network as one to establish a unified information system is a hot topic in space communication area currently. According to a reference model for the space communication network protocol which is proposed by Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems(CCSDS), this thesis realizes the integration of the traditional space communication protocol and TCP/IP protocol using the CCSDS space data link protocol as the link protocol.This thesis studies the development of aerospace Information Network at home and abroad, then focuses on the link layer protocol of aerospace Information Network. Firstly, based on the study of the IP over CCSDS standards, a method is proposed for transmitting the IP packets in the CCSDS data link. This thesis chooses the AOS data link protocol from several CCSDS link layer protocols, studies it and designs the structure of the AOS transmission frame. Secondly, this thesis makes a implementation based on FPGA, and explains the function structure and realization scheme in detail. Finally, the implemented FPGA-based gateway is tested. The result given below shows that the gateway works well.This thesis mainly solves four key technical problems, which are high speed serial interface technology, high speed multi-group search technology, priority queue management technology based on virtual channel and high speed data channel Parallel coding technology. This gateway have the following three creative achievements:1. This thesis uses high speed serial interface technology, such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet optical interface, AURORA protocol, wide area network AOS synchronous optical fiber interface, and high-speed serial transceiver GTH. The throughput performance of the gateway have reached more than 3Gbps, which is much higher than the traditional gateway, have improved the performance of CCSDS gateway greatly.2. A combination of Qo S strategy and link layer virtual channel dynamic bandwidth management mechanism in the IP layer is proposed. The mechanism can not only ensure the timeliness of information transmission in the aerospace information network, but also improve the utilization efficiency of bandwidth effectively.3. The high speed data channel Parallel coding and decoding are implemented. In this thesis, we use RS(255,233) encoding, select the interleaving depth of 4, realize a coding and decoding module which support data rate 3Gbps above, and improve the anti-interference performance of the system effectively.
