Along with the construction of modernization, the reformation of water supply industry system continued to deepen. At the same time, the low level of the original state-owned water supply enterprises and the pattern of the extension of the monopoly business is gradually being disintegrated. The current international practice of the market competition mechanism is gradually being improved. As a result, the future construction of water supply group in line with the market competition mechanism will become the direction of the development of the timesIn this paper, a comprehensive information management system is designed and discussed in detail. The system is based on the working process of Shanghai Waterworks Co., Ltd and requirements of different customers, which mainly include:customer service center system, business charge system, geographical information system (GIS), company resource planning system (EPR), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system and company website system (OA).The customer service center system mainly involves the information query, daily customer service function, general business consulting, complaints and water treatment; business charge management system is used for collection of water supply fees, daily management of water meter data and cost; the main functions of GIS is for daily maintenance and management of the water supply network; the main function of the EPR system is designed for supervision of personnel information, finance, infrastructure, project and material supply; the main function of the data acquisition system is to collect and management water data; the company website is used for showcase the company's image, provide relevant knowledge of water supply. The system is designed on the basis of B/S model by using the.NET as platform for development, with the help of Server SQL 2005 database design, and finally completed the development. Through the unit testing and integration testing shows that system designed in this paper provides high reliability and practicality, which meet the requirements of customers and the company. It provide more reliable and convenient service for Shanghai Waterworks Co., Ltd.
