The Design And Implementation Of Import Business System For A Trading Company

In this thesis, based on an IT Platform reformation project of a trading company, the import & export trading characteristics were analyzed. According to the customer’s current platform, with advanced technologies and programming tools, we managed designing a set of import business management system based on web. Work of this thesis had covered all stages of the development, including project establishment, requirement analysis, overall planning, detailed designing and testing.In the stage of requirement investigation, features, process and the IT level of the company were studied. Then, division of the functional module and collection of the non-functional demand were carried out. At the same time, main issues and pain point of trading field were set an eye on, so that it could be followed-up in the later designing.In the overall design stage, the whole planning and design of the project in architecture, function, performance, network environment and security is completed. Technical situation was researched, relative architecture, environment and network topology were determined; in contrast to the company business processes, relationship between process node was reorganized; finally, data protocol, interface, database and security strategy were planned.In the detailed designing section, purchasing and sales business during import were taken as the main procedure, with billing, receipt and funds transaction module as two support module. Content was chosen for presentation, including features and coding description. Another 5 auxiliary module were used to provide definition, configuration and management for the relative data domain. The end of this chapter describes the content of the testing, which included integration test, acceptance test and system test.For the import business management system, functions have all been covered, performance has met the demand, the UI is friendly and easy to use. Up to now, the system has run smoothly without halting, data info is secured, which brings good point to the ability improvement and regulation compliance. Meanwhile, thought of knowledge and experience gathering in the system usage brings good result for the company, which ease the pain points to some extent. In general, work of this paper has been fully accepted and highly praised.
