Image acquisition and display system is a hotspot in current researches, under some special environmental requirements, using a single-channel image system is difficult to complete different field data acquisition and high-speed real-time processing. In order to realize the image acquisition from different at the same time, this paper designs a double channel image acquisition system based on CPLD and SDRAM. The image sensor is OV7725. And use CPLD chip as the core processing chip, which can complete sensor's SCCB protocol configuration, control of SDRAM configuration, acquisition and storage from two different images, decoding the data using the ADV7123, and displaying on VGA monitor. Work and achievements are as follows:1?In accordance with the project requirements, complete system architecture design and chip selection, design of each module circuit, using Verilog HDL finish coding and simulation.2?Using FPGA for control of SDRAM and verify the image acquisition. Complete serial communication, transfer the data to computer, use a script for data coding and reduction of BMP image, and verify the accuracy of image from the image sensor.3?Minimize the system with high density PCB design, finish the installation of the chip and test the function of whole system.This system has realized the double channel image acquisition and real-time display of minimizing system. The size is ?40mm×4cm. The display speed can reach 60 frames per second with the resolution of 600×800, the main frequency of the system can reach 100 MHz. The system works under 5V voltage and the circuit of 350 mA, and output is VGA standard format. This system has the advantages of low power consumption, low cost, small volume, and can be used in a variety of environmental conditions, so it has wide applicability.
