With the rapid development of mobile communication, the continuous expansion of network and the rising number of base stations, GSM net has been universally covered in the outdoor. Voice quality has been improved too. As the users' requirements are improving, better mobile communication service should be provided not only in the outdoor, but also in the indoor, especially in the places such as shopping malls, senior offices, supermarkets, underground parking lots. The coverage of indoor signal is related to the quality of mobile communication service. However, the economic development and the city's construction need lots of construction areas and building materials, which makes the indoor call quality decline. If telecom operators want to win more market shares, they must provide better quality of network service in mobile communication market. The coverage of indoor signal is a very important part of mobile network coverage. This shows the importance of it. It is particularly important for operators to construct mature indoor signal distribution systems.Firstly, this papers introduces the background and current situation of indoor distribution systems which is based on China Telecom CDMA 2000 and discusses the importance of CDMA's development. Secondly, the paper also introduces the basic theory of of indoor distribution systems. Third, introduced the relevant knowledge of indoor tests. Then the author analyses and predicts the data which is based on the basic situation of Tianjin Joy City. Finally, the paper states the solutions of Tianjin Joy City's indoor distribution systems. This paper takes Tianjin Joy City's CDMA indoor distribution systems as an example. The author discusses the solutions of large and medium-sized building's indoor coverage construction by theoretical research and engineering practice. The paper is instructive to indoor distribution systems' planning and construction.
