The Development And Practice Of Data Migration Technology In Integrated Resource Management Systems

Communications integrated resource management system as a data center of operation supporting system, is an important means to increase the production and productivity for the three major operators. Each network will be integrated into a unified and efficient resource data repository, in order to form a virtuous circle for resources, achieve the lifecycle of the resource management and achieve business meticulous management.Data is the core of resource management system. it is the foundation of a new resource management system well-functioning. A new system will replace the old system, it means that the original data must be migrated. The successful data migration can effectively guarantee the good operation of the new resource management system, which is very important to the communications industry.In this paper, a province of China Telecom's integrated resource management system, describes the development of data migration technology in integrated resource management systems for the communications industry and used in the course of practice. Firstly, introduces project background, scope, current situation and problems and project objectives of the integrated resource management system; and then elaborate on the concept and characteristics of data migration technology, data migration between heterogeneous databases, and lead to the research of data migration technology in the communications integrated resource management system.The article talks about the development of data migration technology in the communications integrated resource management system, it includes the following parts. Firstly, configured the environment of migrated database, developed tools of data extraction and wrote code of data refreshing area. Secondly, designed the data model on number part of the new system, and designed the program of data migration and details section of data migration on the number section; then developed a data migration code to complete the data migration. Finally, after data migration the data was verified, and produce an analysis of the data migration for comparison before and after the migration, in order to ensure the correctness, consistency and completeness of data migration. The work of this paper after system's joint debugging, achieve a good operation and improve the production efficiency and working efficiency of operators in the integrated resource management systems.
