| Cooperative efficiency between information systems is restricted with theemergence of―Information Island‖and the integration of historical data is essential forsettling this matter. As a crucial component of data integration, data migration occupiesan important position. However, the available approaches are not completely compatiblewith the complicated application environment as there are some defects. In this paper, adata migration system model is designed on the basis of researches on traditional datamigration and JMS message model.Firstly, the advantage of JMS message model, the present challenges and designobjective of data migration are put forward with the drawbacks of traditionalapproaches taken into account and a hierarchical model for date migration isaccomplished and some particular techniques such as the architecture stratified strategy,the rule description of data migration and data consistency are analyzed andinvestigated. Secondly, a formal description is realized based on the softwarearchitecture description language named Darwin and the reliability modeling andanalysis are built on the RBD and Criticality Improvement Model; each level of themodel is implemented with the current widely used J2EE framework, which consists oftwo patterns, push-based data migration and subscription-based data migration. Finally,a data migration system, as a part of Xi’an Enterprise Credit Information System, isdeveloped. |
