Research On The Journalism Ethics Anomie And The Strategie Of New Media

In recent years, the rapid development of new media establishes a more convenient and efficient platform for journalism. Changing the production mechanism and values of traditional journalism in the meanwhile, it has a significant influence on the economic and political environment, and offers more possibilities for the future journalism. However, the news, born in the new media environment, frequently touches bottom line of ethics and morality causing a series of journalism ethics anomie.This article is divided into the following five chapters:The first chapter gives an overview of research background, purpose, significance, methods and innovations. In the meanwhile, the author analyzes the domestic and foreign research status of journalism ethics, as well as summarizes the shortcomings and deficiencies of current research in order to guide the following writing.In the Chapter II, the author explains the definitions of ethics and journalism ethics, the two categories and five principles in ethics, as well as the four loyal attributions of journalism ethics. Moreover, Potter Box, the moral reasoning model, is introduced in order to analyze the cases in the third Chapter.Chapter III mainly covers the four typical cases in 2015 annual new media journalism ethics anomie. Systematical summary and review of the cases are followed by inferential analysis using Potter Box in order to clear and definite the ethical dilemma in each case. The new expression and the new problem of new media news ethics will be highlight after the briefly presentation and review of the phenomena of traditional journalism ethics.The forth chapter presents analysis on the cause of new media journalism ethics anomie from the perspective of the development of new media and technology. The author points out the four major causes of the phenomena, that is, information release system, news production process, low cost of new media, and the rise of citizen journalism.In the last chapter, further discussions are explores based on the former chapter. The author summarizes six strategies in preventing and reducing the phenomena of new media journalism ethics anomie, including strengthening supervision mechanism, refining current specifications, increasing violation cost, internalizing Marxist journalistic viewpoint, improving traditional morals and promoting audience's literacy.
