Mobile communications test equipment is an integral part of the industrial chain, where the base station analyzer is an important instrument for deployment and optimization of the mobile networks. LTE system is a mainstream 4G mobile communication standard, which is deploying over the world. The market capacity is extremely large. Development LTE base station analyzer has important practical values.Firstly, LTE downlink physical layer protocols is studied, including the frame structure, the allocation of resources, the physical channels and signals, general structure for downlink physical channels, and so on. Secondly, a model of LTE downlink signals is built on the MATLAB platform, The MATLAB model is consists of a transmitter module, a channel module and a receiver module. Finally, the functional requirements of the base station analyzer are summarized, and parts of solutions is proposed.The same frequencies are reused in adjacent cells of LTE networks in order to improve the spectral efficiency. In order to provide a reference for network deployments and optimization, the base station analyzer needs to find out all of signals of different cells in certain spatial location and accurately measure signal power of each cell. To solve these problems, this dissertation proposes a multi-cell detection scheme base on successive interference eliminating. The scheme integrated DFT denoising channel estimation, merging multiple frames, coherent and non-coherent detection. Besides, the search strategy, synchronizing signal reconstruction method and the cell judgment parameter settings are optimized. Finally, the scheme is validated via extensive simulation, The simulation results show that in the extended pedestrian channel conditions, the probability of correct detection is up to 95% and meets the practical needs.
