With the approaching of “Internet +”, the scale of network is becoming increasingly large, and then the corresponding structure of the underlying topology is becoming more complex. The security and the stability of the user network has become a hot topic in today's society, and how to solve the internet consistently reliable transport has become an urgent problem that the internet service providers face. As we all known, efficient and stable network routing mechanism largely determine the security and stability of the actual network application, therefore, it is necessary to have a convenient and efficient routing monitoring system that can reflect the real-time network topology and alarm the network routing fault in time, so that the administrator can completely control over the state of the network, timely discover of network fault,and take corresponding measures to solve network problems in time.In this thesis, based on the research of the present popular dynamic routing protocol and the improvement of routing monitoring tool, we have achieved the design and implement of the dynamic routing monitoring system for IP network. We implement this system with the method of active monitoring, on the one hand, probes that have part of routing function are set in the network, they can communicate with the routers and obtain the interactive communication packets to complete the logical topology monitoring of the routers in autonomous system of network, which deploys the OSPF, BGP or ISIS. On the other hand, the system uses the routing information parser to extract the route information and calculate routing, through the graphical interface to reproduce the network topology, and alarm the network faults.This thesis mainly analyzes the message concept, characteristics and processing flow of three kinds of routing protocols, OSPF/BGP/ISIS, and puts forward a new improved design scheme of monitoring tool and an parser, which is based on XML encoded language and used to analyze routing information and improves MSPF routing algorithm, and finishes the design of dynamic routing monitoring system for IP network.In GNS3 network simulation environment, confirms the accuracy of the data collected by the monitoring system and the timeliness and consistency of network events alarms.
