With the development of the network, Internet is becoming more and more important in communications. It has become an important matter for IPS that how to keep the continuousness and correction of the Internet. As the robustness and reliability of the Internet is closely related to the efficient routing mechanism, management and maintenance of network routing become an important way to solve the current problems. From the result set of observing the behavior of routing and analyzing the statistical information about the routing events, they can resolve the trouble quickly and track the network connectivity and traffic loads easily. Besides, it is helpful to simulate the processing of routing protocol for network managers to deploy and maintain the network efficiently. We implement this system as a passive measurement, supplemented by active measurement. On the one hand, probes are set in the network, they pretend to be routers in order to communicate with other routers in the network and to collect the route and topology information; on the other hand, the Management Information Bases of BGP routers are accessed. The system accesses the MIB to collect the logical topology of BGP routers in each AS.Firstly, this paper introduced the research background and content; secondly, it described the routing protocol related knowledge including OSPF, BGP and SNMP; then it summarized the goal of our system, expatiated on the design and implement of the modules of the system, addressed the routing management system, and analyzed the testcases for different scenes. Finally, it indicated expectations of the system.
