With the development of Internet and computer technology,to address the problem of a new era of big data,cloud computing came into being.Cloud computing in the IT industry has occupied a very important position,desktop virtualization as an important aplication of cloud computing has been an unprecedented development.Desktop virtualization technology is cloud computing virtualization software technology that combines technology and communication technology,to achieve the desktop environment used to access its thin separation.In life and work,the user can access the cloud platform personal desktop thin clients remotely from anywhere.This dissertation focused on the design and development of virtual desktops in the cloud platform OpenStack(an open source cloud platform framework)environment.After studying the relevant information through open source cloud platform,It is found that OpenStack cloud platform can be used as IaaS infrastructure of virtual desktop cloud.Through literature review of desktop virtualization technology,desktop virtualization is selected as the future trend of development.The characteristic and architecture of cloud computing,core components of OpenStack(e.g.Nova,Swift,Glance)and key technology(e.g.hot movement,virtualization)were investigated.OpenStack is applied as the fundamental architecture of desktop cloud platform and Nova of the computing node is used for resource virtualization management.This dissertation takes analysis of the requirements of desktop cloud system and investigates its virtualization technology.The architecture of the desktop cloud system was proposed based on cloud system framework,followed by designing of physical nodes and logical structure of desktop cloud system.Then generate the server side of the virtual desktop cloud platform and make cross-platform functionality testing.After that,the comparison testing between OpenStack random scheduling algorithm and filter scheduling algorithm was completed.Finally,the experiment towards hot movement of virtual machine in the computing node was conducted.Desktop cloud single-node system function test results showed that:various clients(thin clients and traditional PC,etc.)are able to quickly log on to a virtual desktop through different display technology,it reflects the OpenStack-based cloud desktops high system compatibility,stability and function operational efficiency and other characteristics.Desktop cloud multi-node system performance test data shows:Filter scheduling algorithm with respect to the random scheduling algorithm,can be more rational and rapid distribution of computing and storage resources,improve resource utilization.CloudSim simulation results show that:the length of the mission and the host processing power is not the same,Max-Min algorithm than the Min-Min algorithm and sequential algorithm is more efficient allocations.Paper design desktop cloud system capable of rational allocation and use of resources,is stable,efficient performance,has a high application value.
