Desktop Cloud Platform System Research And Practice

Using cloud computing technology make the information sharing function of IT system develop to the level of platform and equipment sharing, thereby reducing the cost of enterprise information construction, improving the core competence, creating more adding value.The desktop cloud has sprung up to cater to the background of cloud computing. Through the cloud computing software, the unified management of the desktop comes true, and it can provide the network operating system, data processing function and the sharing of mass memory for the users under different environment which make them easily achieve the information processing of the production and management business. The desktop cloud is the indispensable part of the cloud computing.This article emphasizes on the desktop cloud composed of atomic computing terminals under the private cloud environment constructed by cluster server. In the first place, the article analyses the demand of the industry intensively using the desktop and puts forward the business prototype of the ideal desktop. It provides a comprehensive IT desktop solution which involves centralized management of network data storage integrated with all the technologies of network boot, virtual hard disk, device drivers, the unified delivery, update and installment of the operating system. Then the business prototype will be converted to the functional prototype. Afterwards, the article will introduce the methods and process of the conversion. In the end, the desktop cloud system will be tested. Horizontally, all the results will be compared with the traditional thin clients without the disk and the PC with the recover card; and vertically compared with the international renowned desktop virtualization software to testify the feasibility and sophistication of the research approach in the article.
