Design And Realization Of Network Teaching Platform Based On Browse/Server Architecture

Network teaching platform through the network communication technology, Web-based support, provide an implementation for a virtual learning environment, shared learning resources, and a variety of learning tools. In fact, the present large network teaching platforms are not flexible, personalized and extensible enough. The aim of this work is to study the practical needs of different subjects, design and implement ideal network teaching platform and technology.The paper analyzes the value of research and research status of the network teaching platform and the business needs of network teaching platform, while analyzing the economic feasibility of the system construction, and technical feasibility. The work in this paper is based on the teaching needs of computer-related fields, combined with network teaching theory, website construction and database technology, focusing on courses management, online test, online communica tion and backstage management, giving a detailed elaboration of the actual situation of the network teaching platform systems analysis, design and implementation process in the view of software engineering.The system is based on B/S model and ASP.N ET platform, using SQL Server 2008 as data base, implemented by.N ET development technology according to the prototype. It passed the test run, and effective solution to problems involved is proposed. The system is divided into course management subsystem, online communication subsystem and background management subsystem, including function modules of student curriculum management, teacher curriculum management, quality course construction, electronic whiteboard, online testing, and announcement and so on. The system is designed to select the advanced B/S model, making the network teaching platform easier to use, more extensible. In addition, a lot of database-stored procedures have been written to do data processing, thus reducing the load on the Web server and improving operating efficiency. Practice has proved that the network teaching platform can meet the efficiency requirements of daily online teaching, the function and performance requirements, and has practical significance to improve the quality of teaching and to explore new ways of teaching.
