In the 21st century, with the electronic communications and computer technology continues to evolve, businesses are inevitably need to rely on computer networks. A country's education is always the most important thing at all times, the traditional mode of education has been greatly hindered the spread of education in geography and time. By means of the advantages of computer networks, the education migrating to the Internet to make up for the shortcomings of traditional education has become an inevitable trend. Online education is flexible, interactive, self-learning and also many other dominant features. It can make those people that with all kinds of objective reasons can not accept the traditional teaching receiving higher education. Therefore, online education makes education more popular, it is the inevitable trend of a new era of educational development.This paper starts from the actual demand of online education, to study an online teaching system. This system is based on WEB development technology, uses knowledge of databases and software engineering. From system analysis, system design to system implementation, this paper completes a design of network teaching system based on B/S structure. The system implements online teaching, online Q&A, online testing and other basic functions of teaching. Teachers and students could be provided the same requirements with traditional teaching, but more emphasis on the freedom and richness of teaching. It provides a new mode of teaching.In this paper, we implement a network teaching system based on B/S structure. "Software Engineering" course is the teaching content. Teachers, students, administrators are the main users.
