Offshore pipeline is the main way to transport the ocean oil and gas. While in the recent years, the research and study on the protection of offshore pipeline is more and more necessary, because the offshore pipeline's damage happens continuously. There should be a set of analysis software for the offshore pipeline protection, which could help the designers to analyze the offshore pipeline.In this paper, there are five main parts in the design of offshore pipeline protection, w hich is ship type and anchor weight, anchor deep and tow length, trench slope stability, anchor impact analysis, and the stone backfilling.In the ship type and anchor weight design module, through consulting a large number of data and specifications, according to CCS classification of steel ships of specificati ons, the formula in the specification gives a large number of tables and, for different t ype of the size of the anchor and anchor for automatic calculation and output. Calculat ion results are accurate and rapid, greatly improves the design of ship type and anchor weight calculation efficiency and accuracy. Anchor in deep and towing length design module, respectively to anchor in deep and towing length, anchor landing speed, diffe rent types of soil layer anchor in deep and dragging anchor length four aspects carries on the analysis and calculation. The final output of submarine pipeline minimum initi al trapped deep trench depth, anchor and drag the length of the calculation results. Sol ve the long time problem which there is no related effective analysis design software t o anchor deep and towing lengt.In the trench slope stability design module, after analyzing the current popular method s of slope stability analysis, finally choose the actual application of widely two calcula tion theory to analyze and compare the slope stability of submarine pipeline trenching. In the end, output the stability coefficient calculation results of the two methods, two methods of mutual authentication, for the offshore designers to choose.In the anchor impact analysis module, quantitatively analyze the impact of anchor mo oring impact energy and the additional quality impact energy, at the same time compr ehensively consider the backfill layer stone energy absorption, pipe(weight coating, c oating, steel tube) energy absorption. In the end, the software output evaluation results of anchor impact analysis. Solve the current difficulties of submarine pipeline in the a nchor impact analysis and could form the software which could be used in the design of the actual submarine pipeline project in the future.In the stone backfilling design module, considering the weight of the backfill rocks an d cushion layer can satisfy its stability under the action of waves and currents. In the e nd, the software output the suitable pieces of stair to match, the block stone layer thick ness and unit weight of stone. Solve there is no design software for submarine pipelin e stone backfilling currently, and can be well applied to practical engineering.Based on the above five modules design, this paper could systematically solved the su bmarine pipeline protection design and relative software requirements. At the same ti me, larger develop the submarine pipeline design personnel design accuracy and effici ency, which has good market application.
