The popularity of computers led to the progress in all walks of life, among which personnel management is without exception. Personnel management system can manage information in a centralized way. In such a system,each sector is divided into different levels, and sorted and arranged in order. In a company, there are a large number of employees, among whom not a few often change jobs. With an increasing expansion of business scale, it needs to constantly recruit new employees, while a lot of internal staff also change positions as a result of either work requirement or personal performance, thus frequent updating of staff archives is needed. Without an effective management model, it would always seem to be in a mess. Through information management, it can not only provide lots of user information, but also improve the speed and accuracy of query. To obtain a higher efficiency with a low-cost investment is undoubtedly the objective of a company, also it is an essential prerequisite for an enterprise to realize standardized management and to keep up with the advanced level of the world. Therefore, personnel management is an inevitable requirement for enterprise development.In the design of the personnel management system, B / S architecture, Visual Studio 2010 platform, ASP.NET development technologies and SQL Server 2010 etc. are adopted. B / S mode reduces load on the server, but also reduces the burden on the client. Meanwhile, the system also eases maintenance costs, and the performance scalability is greatly improved. Visual Studio 2010 supports functions like user-defined custom, user experience and parallel computing, which makes it an effective platform for the design of the system. The manageability and multi-processor environment of ASP.NET simplifies the design of the systemThe system is composed of six modules, respectively, information management module, information query module, contract management module, personnel change management module, information notification management module and system management module. The information management module can be used to deal with employee information management, department management, employee attendance management and incentive management. With information query management module, a user can have instant related information query, such as employee information query, department query, employee attendance query, incentive information query and salary information query. With the department ID, you can query information about the department; and attendance information also can be learned by the employee’s name and ID. Contract management module is designed to manage contracts signed by the management and employees, which includes two sub-modules, namely, contract information editing sub-module and contract information inquiry sub-module. Personnel change management module is offered to manage job change information of the enterprise staff, in which including position management, personnel promotion, staff mobility, staff demotion and dismissal. Information notification management module is used to notify recent news, event information and other recent conferences concerning personnel changes, a significant incentive or punishment,etc. System management module deals with the management of system users, passwords as well as authority management.After system testing for main modules, the system basically meets the needs of users, and achieves the desired objectives.
