Based on image processing technology, the bullet hole positioning system in cludes the technology of image recognition and information management. The sy stem can identify and analyze the image in the target surface, determine the positi on of the bullet holes, count shooting training data. Replacing artificial identifica tion with image processing, not only makes the training process more concise, bu t also ensures the safety of the presence of personnel. Meanwhile, the real-time b ullet hole positioning system optimizes the previous training form, can enable the shooter to adjust their actions in time and increases the training effectiveness.The collection facilities inevitably cause the Shape Distorted on the target surface. An algorithm of the perspective correction is given in terms of the perspective equations. The feature information which is reflected by the Shape Distorted can be obtained by applying the algorithm. Then the mapping matrix can be obtained and the Shape Distorted on the target surface can be corrected. After the correction, the feature information on the target surface becomes significant, which can be processed further.In terms of the geometric characteristics and the connecting characteristics among different regions, the target' s coordinate on the image and the loop's radius of the image can be obtained by using image segmentation and region labeling. The calculation processes of the radius are simplified considering the concentric circles of the loops.The difference filtering arithmetic is improved considering the luminous intensity which changes with the time. The information management platform is constructed based on Java by analyzing and managing the training data. Meanwhile, the strategy of the information management can be made and the training condition can be controlled by the results of the analysis.In order to make the system more credible, the Image Recognition method is discussed in detail. Additionally, the example is given and the information management platform is built. The result shows the system is effective in shooting training.
