The development of digital image processing is becoming increasingly mature, widelyused in the various fields of science. In clinical medicine, the detection of plateletantibodies is used to diagnose platelet autoimmune diseases,so the usage of processingresults of blood suspension images, in the detection of platelet antibodies, is of greatpractical significance.In this thesis, all the programs are achieved on the MATLAB platform. Based on thecharacteristics of the blood suspension images and the information of platelet antibodiesdetection, the image processing includes the edge detection. The Hough transform of rounddetection, the information of the pixels extracted of the circles. First of all, thisthesis studies the characteristics of several edge detection operators, and applies themto the blood suspension image, the results show that the Sobel operator has the anti-interference ability. can detect the edge clearly; Then, I use classical Hough transform,fast Hough transform, randomized Hough transform and improve the randomized Houghtransform to detect the edges of the image, and analyze the detected circle parameters andtime, propose an improved randomized Hough transform which can detect the circleparameters quickly and accurately; Finally, i use two ways to extract the information of thepixels within the circles, the first one is to scan circle chords individually, the second oneis to scan the bounding rectangles of non-contiguous areas of the blood suspension withinthe circles. Both of these methods can accurately calculate the number of pixels of interestand meet the need for platelet antibody detection.This thesis saves the data and the Gray-scale image of the blood suspension beforeand after in a fixed folder. When the image processing program is tested on the platform ofMATLAB, the program generates an executable file that can run independently of theplatform of MATLAB. The users can use an interface written in Delphi7to extract thedatas and images in the folder, and ultimately, complete the detection of platelet antibodies.
